What is EYFS?

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the British government's framework for children's learning, development, and care from birth to age five. It sets standards to ensure all children make progress and that no child is left behind.

At Stanford Nursery, we implement this proven curriculum with passion and expertise, creating learning experiences that are playful, engaging, and tailored to each child's unique developmental stage.

Learning Through Play

At Stanford Nursery, we believe that play is children's work. Through carefully planned play-based activities, children explore, experiment, discover, and learn in ways that are natural and joyful.

Our educators skillfully guide this play to ensure it is purposeful and aligned with EYFS learning goals, while allowing children the freedom to follow their interests and develop at their own pace.
